I provide individual and small group classes both in my home and online. My approach is centered on setting personalized goals to help students, aged 7 and up, master their skills. Watching my students' confidence grow as they overcome challenges is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
Qualifications and experience
With years of experience teaching in schools and offering one-on-one sessions, I have a strong background in helping children overcome barriers to learning. I believe in tailoring my teaching to meet each student's unique needs, enabling them to realize and unlock their full potential. I hold a QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a Dip SpLD (Diploma in Specific Learning Difficulties).
Specialisation
I specialize in the Touch Type Read and Spell (TTRS) program, which supports both neurodiverse and neurotypical learners. As a Specialist Dyslexia Tutor, I use the program’s multi-sensory, structured phonics approach to strengthen reading and spelling skills. Through muscle memory, students gradually improve their typing speed and accuracy, enhancing both their literacy and confidence. Come and try it out!
